Our philosophy
Ichigo Ichie – one encounter, one time
- 一
- one
- 期
- lifetime
- 一

- 会
- encounter
Four characters from the Japanese tea ceremony. Every encounter is unique and will never happen in quite the same way again. That is why we prepare every evening, every plate and every guest as if it were the only time.
Shaped in the 16th century by the tea master Sen no Rikyū – still the heart of Japanese hospitality, omotenashi, today.
About Mikôto
A Japanese night.
Mikôto is Japanese cuisine with temperament: sushi cut with a steady hand, steaks from the teppanyaki grill and cocktails at the bar. Each of our houses has its own space and its own character – the soul is the same everywhere.
